So Ya Know Your Music History??

Okay ... it's been awhile since we played this, so I hope you're not out-of-practice. What I'll do is give you some questions about various artists in music history, and it'll be up to YOU to come up with the right answer.
Ready??:

THE BEATLES (a two-fer): Unless you've lived under a rock since 1963, you know that John, Paul, George and Ringo comprised the most popular rock quartet in the universe. Over thhe years, many acts have covered their hits -- but there was one who had the honour of being the very first to do so. Who was he -- and what was the song?

A quote about The Beatles, circa 1963: "They don't know music from their backsides." Who said it, and why??

LET'S THROW IN A RECENT ONE: Who is Eamon Jonathan Doyle and how did he make his mark in rock music and world record history?

AND A LITTLE COUNTRY: Who sang the hit I Fall To Pieces? (uh-huh ... that was easy, but ...) Who would've recorded it, had it not been "too 'country'" for her??

BACK TO THE BEATLES (sorta) If you have an early copy of Sir Paul McCartney's album, Red Rose Speedway, there's a chance that you'll find a little something "extra" on the LP jacket -- something that's not on later pressings. Any idea as to what that is??

Whilst Paul and John Lennon were rehearsing new material at his (Paul's) home in the early years, they didn't hear the postman come by to deliver the mail. However, this postman had already played a vital role in their history. What was it?

And that's it for this edition. But stay tuned ... I'll have more ROCK, RHYTHM and RIMSHOTS coming your way -- including the latest news -- in less than 24. So, until then, I'll ...

see ya on the flip side!
